Winter & Spring 2023 Studio Classes

Older students took on mentor roles in our January studio classes! They assisted beginner students in maintaining a steady beat and even sight-read the teacher duet! Students also wrote their piano goals for 2023 and shared pieces they've been working on. We had too much fun at our March studio classes and forgot to take pictures, but Emma, Joshua and Rory shared their music for the first time with an audience! Way to go!
Winter Recital at St. Mark's Lutheran Church

Student performed at St. Mark's Lutheran Church on December 18th at 2PM. Everyone shared one memorized solo along with a holiday duet or trio. Thank you for taking the time to share your music with others!
IMTA Piano Festival at Kirkwood Community College

The purpose of the IMTA Piano Festival is the promotion of confident performance. Students performed their selections for and worked one-on-one with a guest clinician to gain valuable musical insights.

Studio Classes are a fun way to stay motivated throughout the summer months! Join us Saturday, June 18th and Saturday, July 16th to perform and collaborate. K-12 will meet 11AM-12PM and adults 1PM-2PM.
Marion Piano Festival at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection

This year the Marion Piano Festival had almost 175 entrants - WOW! Students performed their selections for a judge and received valuable feedback on things they are doing well and things to improve. IMTA Pre-College Piano Auditions at Coe College

The purpose of the Iowa Music Teachers Association Pre-College Piano Auditions is the promotion of comprehensive musicianship. The Auditions provide a competition in which students may demonstrate their performance ability, keyboard proficiency and knowledge of theory.
